Our goal is to help the next generation unlock their potential, whether you are a beginner or an experienced athlete, we have specialized coaches dedicated to provide a skills training program that focuses on building foundational basketball skills as well as mentoring the youth.
We are dedicated to improving not only your child’s basketball skills but also instilling important values such as discipline, teamwork, and leadership which is vital in unleashing the true potential of a student athlete. Our training encourages our kids to set goals and work towards achieving them, promoting a growth mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.

Founder/Director/CoachNishan Dhanoya is the Founder and Director of R1ZE Basketball. With a lifelong passion for athletics and player development, he has built R1ZE on the principles of discipline, consistency, accountability, and excellence.
From a young age, Nishan was committed to maximizing his potential both academically and athletically, excelling in the classroom and on the court/field. Those experiences helped shape the values and work ethic that continue to guide his approach to coaching and mentorship today.
Nishan attended Simon Fraser University, where he studied within the Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology (BPK) program. His academic focus included human motor learning, anatomy and physiology, sport psychology, and biomechanics, providing him with a strong foundation in athletic performance and long-term athlete development.
As a coach and mentor, Nishan is committed to helping athletes maximize their potential on and off the court. His coaching philosophy extends beyond skill development, emphasizing confidence, leadership, resilience, and the habits required to succeed in basketball, academics, and life.
Through R1ZE Basketball, Nishan is dedicated to creating a positive, competitive, and high-performance environment where athletes are challenged to grow, develop their skills, and pursue excellence in everything they do.

R1ZE FOOTBALL
Join our dynamic flag football program and discover the thrill of the game while honing your skills on the field. From beginners to seasoned players, we're here to empower and inspire the next generation of gridiron stars.
We will be coaching essential movements and techniques for football including speed, agility, change of direction, throwing & catching. Our coaches have extensive experience playing football and excelling at the university level. No previous football experience needed, all levels are welcome.
Youth flag football programs are available from K-12.

FounderBaltej Dhanoya is a Founder of R1ZE Athletic Academy Football. Baltej has a very decorated resume in accordance to his football career.
Baltej played for the Langley Rams of the Canadian Junior Football League. in 2018 Baltej captured his first championship winning the British Columbia Football Conference Championship. Baltej received various scholarship offers from Canadian Universities which include the University of Calgary, University of Toronto, McMasters University, and others.
Baltej’s goal is to help all athletes reach their potential as he likes to stress the importance of perseverance as his own story is nothing less of dedication and determination.
